I grew up in the middle of 5 siblings in a rowdy, funny, mostly chaotic, and sometimes very messy household (my parents were artistic academics with little inclination to choose domesticity over a good book...), and learned early on that in order to keep or find anything of value, I needed my room to remain neat, tidy, and structured. I found that organization and order came naturally to me, and would often help friends and family pack for trips or clean and rearrange bedrooms.
Fast forward a handful of years, I became the very proud (and often exhausted) mother of 4 (yes, FOUR!) sons , and happily managed a complex household that included hosting their many friends and tending to a menagerie of dogs, cats, hamsters, chickens, and reptiles. As a result, I became hugely efficient, mostly unfazed and unflappable, and above all, competent; to say my organizational skills were well-honed by them would be an understatement.
I now have many years of experience in assisting with everything from basic packing/unpacking for a house move, to decluttering, simplifying, and fully clearing out individual rooms or entire homes, to sorting and cleaning offices, and more, and I always complete all tasks extremely quickly and competently and to rave reviews. I will never feel, let alone express, any judgement of your space, but only approach it with empathy, compassion, full discretion, understanding, and positivity -- strange but true: these work sessions can often actually be fun! Believe me, when I say I have seen the full gamut of personal spaces, and that nothing surprises or affects me; I will simply look at it as a puzzle that I can't wait to solve.
